Ben Cory Jones is a writer, producer, showrunner, and director known for his work on HBO’s Insecure and BET’s Boomerang, which he co-created and executive-produced. He has also written for Underground and Hand of God, and served as Consulting Producer on Kingdom Business.

A Morehouse College graduate, Jones began his career in finance before transitioning to television through the ABC/Disney Writing Fellowship. He recently made his feature directorial debut with Black Spartans, about the first Black men to integrate college football at Michigan State.
